Varsity Head Coach Adam Skokowski

Adam Skokowski is in his 8th year as the head coach at Piedmont High School. Prior to Piedmont, he was the head coach at Midwest City High School for four years.  He has accumulated a career record of 245-141. In his time at Piedmont, Coach Skokowski’s teams have hosted and won Regional Championships punching their ticket to the 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 5A State Tournaments.  The 2022 team finished as 5A State Runner-Ups.  In addition, Piedmont was the District Champions in 2022 and 2023.  After moving up to the 6A level, Coach Skokowski’s teams won its District in 2024 and Regionals in 2025 advancing all the way to the 6A State Semi-Finals.  Coach Skokowski has been named 2022 Big All-City Coach of the Year, 2022 OBCA Region 1 Coach of the Year, and 2016 Oklahoma Big 10 Conference Coach of the Year.  In his head coaching career, he has had a total of 46 players go on to play at the college level. 

Coach Skokowski played baseball at Midwest City High School from 1997-1999, where he was a utility infielder starting at 2B, SS, and 3B.  After graduating from the University of Central Oklahoma, Coach Skokowski spent eight years as an assistant at Midwest City High School and two years as an assistant at Southmoore High School working mainly with infielders, pitchers, and catchers.  He has a Master’s Degree in Sports Administration at East Central University.  Adam is married to Brandi Skokowski, has a 8-year-old daughter named Scarlett, a 6-year-old daughter named Caroline, a 3-year-old son named Hutch, and currently lives in Yukon, OK.
