Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored five runs in the fifth on its way to a 7-1 victory over Moore Lions Varsity on Saturday.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats big bats were led by Reid Smith and Dalton Hampton, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Noah Smith led things off on the mound for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Crue Riley toed the rubber for Moore Lions Varsity. The pitcher allowed five hits and six runs over four and a third innings, striking out three.  Max Howe threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats totaled six hits in the game.  Luke Hill and Cole Pruitt all managed multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Pruitt and Hill each collected two hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Jayshaun Sykes went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Moore Lions Varsity in hits.
