Wolves Can’t Keep Up with the Cats

Logan Hill came to the ballpark and meant business on Friday, driving in four on three hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats past Edmond Santa Fe Varsity Wolves 11-4 on Friday.  Hill drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the sixth.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats got on the board in the first inning when an error scored one run for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scored three runs in the sixth inning.  Piedmont Varsity Wildcats’ offense in the inning was led by Hill and Brayden Johnson, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Noah Aller pitched Piedmont Varsity Wildcats to victory. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing three hits and no earned runs while striking out six.  Cole Girard threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Jack led things off on the mound for Edmond Santa Fe Varsity Wolves. The hurler surrendered eight runs on 11 hits over four and a third innings, striking out one.  Hayden Towell and Easton entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one inning and two-thirds of an inning respectively.

Piedmont Varsity Wildcats scattered 14 hits in the game.  Hill, Jackson Harriger, and Girard each collected multiple hits for Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.  Harriger and Hill each managed three hits to lead Piedmont Varsity Wildcats.
